what compression? I assume very high and race gas to reach 450.

either way, if you are short of your goal, you have an amazing block and crank and can make up for any lack of power with more nitrous. say 200 or 250 eventually

So who is it then saying you can make that power N/A, Kotzur or SHM ??
I still think even 450 at the fly is attainable with the mods you listed. How do you know you have that compression, if they ported the heads (combustion chamber wise), you'd actually drop some compression. Unless you changed your pistons, and even with stage 3 cams and texas heat, you'd still drop some to an extent...

explain to me how texas heat drops static compression.

If you can, get a hold of BOSS 330 about an intake for your setup. YOu will need at least 4.30s, anything less would be retarded.

very smart with the 03 stuff. However, I would still talk to boss about the intake. just porting the hell out of it, while gaining power will not have the best flow characteristics. His epoxied ported and reformed intake is siiiiick.

It might be the next step from the ported mach 1 intake.

That's where the 4v is beating you up Davis, the 03/04 Cobra/Mach heads are the best Ford ever made for the mod motor except the FRPP one. The 4v heads flow with some awesome results, and porting the upper intake only lets air flow better. Even switching the intake and exhaust cams with different ones versus all stock will yield more power.

400 is more of a reality with that set up, but after market cams, port work and the 4V tends to like it better, with a forged bottom end, 8k rpm is in reach. And Carlos does good work....

what are you talking about? Again you arent making sense, or you just cant comprehend my post.

I said the 03 stuff will be great. 98 cams in 03 stuff alone will be worth about a 30 hp gain.

I then suggested that he go with a chopped ported and epoxied intake by someone who knows what they are doing. Did you ever see the difference that some shaping work made versus just gotting the intake? have you seen a boss 330 lower?

Not true
The heads off the gt-500 and the gt supercar are

Then followed by the fr-500 ones

THEN the 03-04 cobra heads for power production in that order.
