get some gears and tloc for dat bich yo! seriously.. gears are one of the best bang for your buck, and tloc will really help as well, and since they go together, its best to get them at the same time, alot less for installlation that way. you get some 4.10's and a tloc, youd be VERY suprised at what your car can do.

thanks
T.J.

nah.. your car comes with 3.08's. getting 3.73's would probably be a dissapointment. if you get 4.10's and tloc, youll DEFINITELY feel a difference. my best advice is to post up on www.dfwstangs.com in their forums, under the for sale forum, and say you need a set of 4.10 gears and a tloc for a 7.5, and with any luck, someone will have some to sell to you for a nice price. when i blew my tloc, i got another one used for 30$ and i got the gears for 100$ shipped to my place. just keep looking around and find a good deal somewhere, there is ALWAYS a good deal if you have patience. then just fork out a few bucks for someone to install them, and you're good to go. there are some people on this board that may do it for less than what a performance shop would do them.. just look around man.:jeff:
all of mine put together with parts and install costed me under 300$, and definitely put a huge smile on my face.:jeff: :threegear

edit: ah shit... i just remembered that you need a speedcal too. that really sucks. fox bodies just need a speedo gear, costs like 15$ but your speed cal will run somewhere close to 100$ new. just look around and see what kinda deals you can find. if you end up doing this, get the speedcal from dallasmustang. that supposed to be the best one.. or atleast thats what i hear.

psstt--- also, you have pm.

woops.. my bad. so that makes my point even more. 3.27's - 3.73's would be a big waste of money. bump it to 4.10's for sure.

hmm.. foxes need a speedcal? Cause one of the guys (greg with the lime green 99 cobra) had a 94 5.0 that didnt need it, you just adjusted a bolt or a switch in the computer i think.

he has a v6? ishe keeping teh car long term? I personally would leave it stock and wait till I could get something different. But, if he is going to keep it......
dont waste money on boltons that wont do crap
on a. dont waste your money on a chip until you have some mods that would have drastically changed your tune.

do
Pulleys, 1.7 rollerrockers, cam, Spray....

if the car is long run......
junkyard turbo kit.... start collecting parts, be patient.... look into www.turbomustangs.com

you also have a T5 tranny, so you have the option of swapping a 5.0 in there easily. you can get a 5.0 out of a wrecked stang or build youself one in your garage. you just need the computer out of a 88-95 or a newer 5.0 explorer, and K member for a 5.0... and a few odds and ends.....But I dont think this option is for you
