I keep seeing Bullitts every where recently.. Anywho..

Around 1030ish last night, on 1604 headed back from the Palladium, just before the Bandera exit, I see 99+ Mustang headlights (no fogs) coming up in my rear view. This person slowly cruised by me.. saw the Bullitt stuff on it. Couldn't tell the color...it was too dark...but probably black.

It had a wing on it.. looked like a 99-00 wing, and he/she also had sequential tails.

My gf was driving in front of me, and the driver was behind me, and as the Bandera exit came up, is when he/she passed us both just to exit and take the turn-around...instead of playing it safe and staying behind me.

I guess they wanted me to see the car..?

I didn't see any stickers on it anywhere...but maybe someone has seen it around.

No clue. Part of the mystique of a Bullitt is the wingless factor. I guess some people think since it's a sporty car, it needs a wing...or perhaps that it makes it go faster.. Who knows.

nope not that night...I asked him at the car wash or car show. I dont remember which one i just know it was early in the day. He said it was a bullitt. i asked him why was it grey when all bullits are green (sorry DHG FTW), black, or blue. he said he had it repainted.

I have no problem with anyone if the car is really a Bullitt...and it was repainted Dark Shadow Grey, or some other color. BUT, if it's actually not a Bullitt, and the owner attempts to make everyone believe (in one way or another) that it is a real Bullitt, then that kinda bugs me...as it would bug other real Bullitt owners...especially the die-hard guys @ IMBOC.

I never said it was fake and well im not as good as you would be at picking out a fake bullitt. But i did remember a couple of the things you showed me. So if this was a real bullitt he replaces the quarter window with the GT one and also replaced the guagues with GT ones. Also did a swap on the brake calipers as well...

That's the thing.. why would you make a "rare" car in a rare color (assuming it was DHG) look like a run of the mill 2004 GT? Doesn't make sense.
