What can cause the compressor to engage when the vent is on and disengage when the a/c is turned on? Cold air comes out when the vent is on because the compressor comes on and when the a/c is turned on the compressor goes off. It is the exact opposite operation, what could it be? I thought maybe clutch cycling switch, if so, will freon escape when I unscrew the switch?
