    A/C problem

when I turn on the a/c it only blows out hot air so i took it to get checked and they said that the compressor was fine and it did have freon but for some reason the compressor was not getting power . Has this happened to anybody else if so what was wrong with the a/c system ? Thanks in advance

Weird .. I was having the same problem around the same time I was having charging issues because of my UD pulleys. Id be driving along them BAM .. no A/C. After I installed my 3G alternator a lot of the problems I was having just disappeared. My A/C has not turned off (on its own) ever since, and my headlights are nice and bright.

I believe I used a 130 amp 3G alternator from a 95 Mustang, got a re-manufactured piece from the local Kragens. I changed the regulator to make it a true 1 wire unit. This way all you need is a 4 gauge wire from the alternator to the starter solenoid. I also had to clearance the alternator mounting bracket just a bit. Shouldnt take too long at all.
