A loose bolt

In the picture below, the tube(below the red wire) is missing a bolt and the other is very loose. Would the seal not being tight on the tube cause a vibration in the engine?


edit:Not the gold bar, but the chrome colored tube

im not sure if that would cause any vibration, but i would suggest that you fix that real soon

i cant tell by the picture, but is the loose tube part of your headers, if so, im willing to bet that it would cause vibrations

yeah it is part of the header, I threw the other bolt(while going around the block) so thats why I want to see if anyone knows the size of the bolts

i'll bet that would be causing vibrations, especially at higher rpm's. i dont know what the bolt size is, but im sure that someone around here would know:2thumbup:

It will not cause a vibration!Period!It can cause an exhaust leak though!You said the balancer seemed ok.Another thing you may check that will cause vibration is if the motor mounts are bad.
