A V6 Ran a 11.7!?!?!?

I could not believe it! A guy and his bud pulled in the Tx. Motorplex in a V6 Convertible......dumped the clutch at 1500 and clocked a 11.7 in the quarter!
Not exactly stock....That was a sick ride

Got his name

It's Phil Williamson. He had bought the car for his daughter and she didn't care for it. He got the mod fever and the guys at Dallas Mustang did the deed and souped it up.

Phil has done a lot of work to his car. He's a great guy and very thorough with what he does. I think Dallas Mustang just tuned it. That was his first trip to a track. Look forward to faster times coming soon.

totally didn't see this post. Phil's car is sick, 4.3L making 495/459 at 18psi on his procharger. If he had a coupe then i bet he could get 10's, might even be possible with his vert. He's on v6power if any of the v6ers have questions for him.
