About how long would these types of tires last?

Since I'm getting 4.10, I'm going to need some traction at the track, I just want to know how long do these tires usually does?

ET streets?
Drag radial?
Stock tires?
Slicks?

And what is different between ET streets and Drag radial? sorry if it's a newbie question.. I'm 18 and still learning :P

What would be the best tires for daily driving/track type of car?

And lastly, do you really need to replace all 4 tires? wouldn't it make more sense just to replace the rear ones only? thanks

I did not ask if anyone wants to drive in the rain or not. I just wanted to know how long do those tires that I mentioned last. Thank you for your cooperation.

I got new Nittos at the end of August and they're completely bald now. Granted I race more than most people, but usually you can get 6-8 months out of them. Those are going to be your best bet for street tires that will hook. ET Streets and slicks, forget about it on the street. Unstable at high speeds, won't corner worth a shit, and you'll get 1000 miles or so out of them.

If you want a tire that will hold up decent and work OK at the track the Nitto's drag radial is what you would want.:jeff:

I put 2000+ miles on my ET streets... and when I bought them when they were bald as FAWK

ask nighthawk about how many miles he pu t on his, because he used to daily drive on them too.

I didnt mind them on the highway, but there is a little vibration, kinda like having an unbalanced rear rim, no biggy. I like it:jeff:

Im sure you could get 4K out of them. I know I could

Here's a list with the most traction first(also means it will wear out faster for normal driving)
1.Drag Slicks
2.ET Streets
3.BFG drag radials
4.Nitto drag radials
5.regular street tires
Also Mickey Thompson came out with a drag radial but I'm not real familiar with them and how long they will last.Hopes this will clear up any confusion!:jeff:

if you can learn how to launch at all, nittos work just fine at the track

as long as its not 34 with no prep:gil:

takes about a trip or 2 to get it down , or a few passes to learn where your car like it.

Get some nitto drag radials out back for the street and a spare set of wheels w/ et streets or et drags for the strip :jeff:
