Lone Star Stangs was founded in 2002 by a group of friends who shared a common interest in Ford Mustangs. The goal of the club/website was to create a place where Mustang enthusiasts all over Texas could gather and plan events such as cruises, bbq's, and nights at the local 1/4 mile dragstrip.
What makes Lone Star Stangs different than most website-based Mustang clubs is the fact that the majority of our members have met each other in person through our many events. This gives our forums a "friendly" feel. And we always encourage new members to come out and attend our events.
How much does it cost to become a member?
Membership is absolutely free! We do not have membership dues, although we do sell t-shirts and decals, take donations, and offer a premium membership we call SilverStar to help the club maintain its monthly expenses. The merchandise can be purchased at most club sponsored events.
