Alignment -- rear tires extend over lip

I was told by Firestone that my 315s, which are extending over the lip (DD), may prevent them from mounting the alignment tools.

Here's a picture to display how far the tire is coming over:

Think they will have any issues mounting the equipment?

If the guy knows how to use the mounts then he shouldn't have a problem. I've done alignments on rims with tires that stick out worse than that. It might take a second or two longer to slow down and do it right but it can easily be done. In my opinion, going to Firestone is the first problem in this scenario.

Good to hear.

I don't want to go to Firestone, but they are the only place around offering life-time alignments.

the reflectors on the alignment machine i used to use could clip on the outside of the wheel or expand from the middle out. so there shouldnt be a issue.
