am i just stupid? spoiler trouble.

am i just stupid? arent all spoilers for 2001-2004 v6's and gts interchangeable? i have an 04 v6 and i just bought a stock spoiler from an 01 (i wanted a black one) and the spoiler wont fit. the holes dont line up... the bolts look like they would line up but they dont.. the only thing different is the line that the black 01 spoiler has on the top (it has that curve sort of thing.. you know... haha) and that the bolts come out of the spoiler instead of going into the spoiler like on mine... any help?

think you got your hands tied up on that one...unless you change the hoes in your trunk lid.

I don't know about 2001-2004's but on my 98 V6 when I swaped out the stock spoiler for the Cobra spoiler the holes did not match up. We ended up having to drill new holes. The spoiler DOES cover up the old holes though! So it was all good.

Good luck with getting your new spoiler on.

well i dont want to drill new holes in my trunk.. so i posted the spoiler in the classifieds.. so im going to sell it unless someone tells me why its not working and what i can do to make it work (Besides drilling holes)

i dont think so.. is yours flat on the top or is it like

mine is flat.. so im thinking the flat one and that one have different bolt patterns.. so if you have a flat one maybe it will fit...
