Any Clear Lake area weekend meets left???

Looks like the I45/Hooters meet got shut down and I went to the small meet in the Home Depot parking lot on 2094, nothing much going on there. Where are the other meets now-a-days?

I quit following the meets a while back as there are always idiots causing problems.
There is a small one on the corner of Spencer and Center street Friday nights, but it doesn't get a whole lot of traffic. That is a good thing imo.

ya, it is not exactly on the corner, but it is in a parking lot behind the shell on fair weather days. starts a little early as well, like 6pm.

This isn't going to be very helpful but I was cruising down 45 in Dickinson last Saturday, I think and I saw some nice older cars with their hoods up... Think it was in the HEB parking lot but don't quote me on that... I assumed that is where things moved to... I've been busy lately and sometimes forget where I've been and who I am... ;-

We need to start up something fairly big once a month. I would go to hooters here in there also. We need some sort of cruise to Galveston or something. Maybe just a spot that everyone gets excited about once a month or so. Any ideas or input?

same thing happened to my fiance in her 05 gt. SHe spun and hit a truck, guy that moved over didnt stop, car survived that one. About a week before christmas she got slammed in the same area as you on 45 (100 yds from the first one) by a clown in a beater 94 accord with no insurance, totalled it. She was ok in both, but it really sucks. Now time to find the next one! people drive like shit!
