Question Any fix after you get egged??

Well a lil' over a year ago, my truck got egged in my old neighborhood, but I didn't worry about the paint too much, since it's old and I want to get it repainted anyways. We just moved to a new really nice neighbor hood about a month ago, but saturday night my mustang along with many other cars down my side of the street got egged. Mine got an egg to the driver side right next to the door handle on the rear quarter I guess is what you'd call it. It got washed off in a reasonable amount of time. It's not tremendously hideous but it is visible if you look, because it has the distinctive "I've been hit by an egg" pattern. No corrosion of the paint, just the cracking pattern that looks kinda like a spider web. SO... I was wondering if there is any sort of fix or scratch remover that helps this any. Thanks for any info.

You could try a light buffing compound then finish of with a polisher. Try scrubbing it with a clay bar first.

I'm also thinkin that it's not really helpable unless those so called scratch removers work. It's like a bunch or real small cracks in the clear, but then I think there is also some small color chunks missing. I need to check again more closely. I would post a pic, but it's the kind of thing that you just need to see for yourself. Thanks for the replies so far.

Well our next door neighbor whose truck got egged actually has surveillance, but all that they got on tape was that there was a lot of traffic down our street between 12 and 3 am. He couldn't see anything more detailed than that. Man, I don't know what I'd do if I caught em' in the act.

Unfortunately guys this wont work. Ive tried everything possible because the night I got my sonic blue car it sat outside and some idiots egged it on the driver side quarter panel. My best suggestion is like the other guys said find the twits and kick their asses because i still cant get mine to come out and that was 5 months ago!

Well luckily my car is mineral grey which I didn't like at first, but have grown to love, cuz stuff doesn't show up on there like other colors would... especially when it's dirty, it doesn't look as dirty as a sonic blue would. You can't tell unless you look close. I was just curious....
