Any GOOD paint shops in SAN ANTONIO

Hey everyone, just got my Cobra R bumper, hood and wing in but I'm looking for a good paint shop that can do the paint and install without ripping me off. I've been here a year any don't know anything about paint and body shops here. Any help or reccomendations would be helpful. Thanks

Thanks for the reply however, Jack's Paint Place doesn't do aftermarket stuff. How do I get ahold of Darren? Have you heard anything about Hard Luck Auto out in Marion? I've seen a few posts regarding him? Thanks again. Rich

I need to paint a spoiler and hood here, I heard about a place called Artisan Auto but I am not sure if they paint aftermarket parts. Someone said metallics are fairly difficult to paint alone because of the way the metallic flakes settle, or some voodoo like that causing color variations.

Yea its a little more difficult. It likes to "Tiger stripe" thats when the metallic collects in certain areas and looks like stripes.

Depends on several things...paint quality, proper reducer for temps, gun set up and adjustment, spray technique, A CLEAN GUN, Not much harder than solids actually. Alot of people think spraying metalics "dry" is best, but actually it's not. The metallics will lay too flat and the color will be lighter. Spraying "wet" will allow the metallics time to lay out in the proper orientation.
