Any one running an MSD DIS-4?
IS anyone running one of these? I've gone through 2 of them in @ 3 months. The first one lasted @ 5 weeks. Waited 2 weeks for summit to send another one, installed it and this one lasted 3 weeks. MSD used to make good products, all I can get from their tech support is run a colder range plug, but I'm running the coldest range plug for my car that NGk makes. I'm at a loss here. Anyone else making an ignition that actually works for the 4.6's?

I too, have had awful experiences with MSD! I used to run their Supercondumpor, I mean Superconductor wires on my Cobra. Damn things were like $200 a set and were only 8.5mm wires, but MSD is the best, right? WRONG! :thumbdown Suns of beetches caused a miss on my car btwn2-3k rpms after like 2 months. Go figure. Ripped them out and put the 9mm Ford Racing wires. Sorry about your experiences, but I dunno who makes a good ignition. Whatchya need it for?

Honestly I put the ignition on because I am getting ready to slap a kenne bell on my car, but in the mean time when the msd works it actually picks up a few miles to gallon. This is the 4th msd box i've owned that's gone bad. I think I'll be giving jacobs a call, maybe that have a product that works.

I would have gone with the Kenne bell boost-a-spark on the car...
