Any Selma police help here???

Got a ticket in Selma leaving Hooters tonight, had the family in the SUV and they caught me 55 in a 45 on the access to the 35N ramp. Funny thing was, there was a pick up behind me gaining on me so I speed up some to keep him from getting on my bumper. Cop was very business oriented too, did not even ask me a single normal question either, like "Why the speed"? "What's the hurry"?....... just gave me a ticket straight up.....

I'll take defensive driving to keep it from my record and insurance purposes, just wanted to see if any locals have any connections here....

yea i got 90 in a 65 from a selma cop. funny thing is he stopped me in front of jordan ford, he followed me for a while i guess and tried to tell me i was racing an avalance.

cop: "testing out the new car i see." (still had temp. tags.)
cop: "what would the army do to you if they knew you were racing?"
me: "was i racing?"
cop: "you and that avalanche were both doing 90 for a while and were right next to each other."
me: "umm, they wouldn't like it."
cop: "well im not going to push the issue."

MORAL OF MY STORY, HE WAS A DOUCHE.

I got a ticket from Selma PD the day after I picked my car up from ya'll for the inspection and registration. I showed him all the paperwork, the receipt of sale, the title, and the application to change the title over to me, and the guy still gave me a ticket. I explained everything to the guy and he wouldn't budge, oh well. I took yesterday off from work to get the stuff taken care of, they let me take care of the title but I have to day another day off on the 24th cause I have to go to court for the inspection. yay me

I love Selma. Oh well, he at least didn't hit me up for the no front license plate or my license being my address from 3 moves ago.

Selma is the most chicken shit PD in the state of Texas. If you get pulled over by them I guarantee you that you WILL get a ticket.

i though jordan ford was in live oak or san antonio

use a lawer to get it dismissed. search on here for contacts. mine that i have used twice was, i believe, mark sideman.

Pretty much.We used to service their police units and my service writer knew the chief pretty well. They didn't let me off the hook for test driving a customer's car whose inspection sticker had expired. I had to pay the fucking ticket.

are you fucking kidding me?! iv'e been pulled over about 8 times in the last 6 months for inspection reasons, and not one ticket... at least in customer cars... being an inspector, there's no reason mine should ever be out. i was told that theyre not supposed to (supposedly) ticket mechanics for expired stickers in customer cars...

It should just be common knowledge to never speed in the smaller surrounding towns (i.e. Live Oak, Converse, Selma, Schertz oh and Leon Valley is a biatch too)
