I noticed it doesnt seem like anyone goes to the track as much anymore. At least from this site.

Lets go racin ppl. And make it on my day off

ive been wanting to go pretty bad actually but i need to go through a seafoam and BG bottle or two first, then get me some new back tires also...after all that im down to go as long as im off too...probably take some of my import friends out there too so i can show'em whats up. i wanna go on a wednesday though so i can get more runs in

I can't wait to get back to the track. My leg is still healing up well, so it shouldn't be long. Luckily, I should be 100% and it will also be cooler outside. My car should be finished within 2 weeks. Maybe we should plan an LSS GTG at the track? Whatcha think?

hell...if i know about it with enough time ill go...prefer a wednesday thing for more runs, maybe we meet up for munchies somewhere, fuel up and roll out together. we should take some cameras too, with a big lot like that we can maybe get in some good shots...

Perusing the SAR website it says you need a helmet for anything running 13.99 or faster. Is that for real?

Yes. There is really no excuse for running at the track without one...

They have some ratty old loaners if you leave your DL with them. If you go with the group I am sure you can borrow one.

Missed the track this weekend. going in 2 weeks. last pass i got to make was 13.4 @60ish in the 1/4, the 1/8 was 7.5xx@93.xx. This was in a friends race car and the first time behind the wheel in that car. Never even drove it down the pit road before.
Did the burnout, started pulling up to the line It died just before getting to the line. Got it started and pulled up to stage, then I stalled it to hard so it tried moving, backed off, then the light came down, so only got a 1.8xx 60'. and of course i tapped in in second and didnt think it was in 2nd. so let up and hit the shifter again to find it was in 2nd, so got back on it. First time in the drivers seat and i took it down the 1320, but let off at the 1/8 since it was my first run in his car.

im at the track 2 weekends a month
