Do you like how they hook? Did you have any fit issues?

i enjoyed them because i ran the radial calss in the midnight madness..nothing hooks as well as a slick or bias ply street legal tire..you have to drive the radials around the block almost flat to break up the sidewalls on em..i have only ran the hoosier tire but i hear its the same for m/t and goodyears. i will probably never buy another pair to be honest. it was a pain to get the car setup and progress the nitrous out of the hole and forget trying to hook em on the street..i had a 9' sec car, it may be what your looking for if you are wanting 10 second zone.but to me its easier ,cost effective to buy slicks or et streets/hoosier quick pro's than doin the radial thing.imo.

I run the 275/60/15 M/T Drag Radials. I have had a lot of trouble getting the car to hook, but my car also has problems on used 10.5 X 28 M/T slicks. My car did a best 60' of 1.4706 on the used 10.5 X 28 M/T slicks and a best of 1.477 on the 275/60/15 M/T drag radials. I have just made a few changes and hope to finaly get the car to work on both tires. You will have to roll the wheel lips and possibly do a little work on the inner wheel house. When I put the 10.5 X 28 slicks I had to go back and do more clearancing on the inner wheel house, the tires are shaped completely different. The slicks are a lot lighter also. I plan on getting another pair of rear wheels to put a new set of slicks on, but until then I plan on continuing to try to make the car work on the radials. I have gotten the Nito drag radials to work very well on 11 second cars, and I have a friend that has a set of 275/45/17 Nitto drag radials on his supercharged '90 lx hatch that is easly a low 11 second car very possibly a high 10 second car and it will hook on both the track and the street if the road has a good surface.

cool, thanks. I am really wanting to do the 325/50/15 M/T drag radials, but I am kinda against mini-tubbing, just can't afford it. I know I can get them to fit without doing that, but every car I have seen with them on just doesn't look right to me. That is why I am asking about the 275

I bought a set of 325/50/15 M/T drag radials before I got the 275/60/15's. A friend had them, they came on a car he bought they were brand new someone started a project and never finnished it. So I bought them from him thinking I could make them work. The wheel lip was sitting on the tread of the tire about a 1/4" from the out side edge of the tread. On the inside if the rear of the car was not jacked up they would be pushed into the inner wheel house so hard, the car would act like the e-brake was on. You would definitely have to mini tub the car. I sold the ones I had.

The 275/60/15 record is in the
7s. if you are worried about
it not being enough tire.

save your money buy new slicks, adjust your pinion angle, lighten the front of your car and call it a day....change out that tranny to a glide then youll get it done... been there tried that...everyone doin it has a glide in there car.

I have been looking at the Idea of installing a glide, also considering changing the gear set in the C4 to a 2.20 first gear. Before I do either of those I am going to change the gears in the rear, when I had 3.90's in the rear the car regularly 60'ed quicker, higher MPH and ran quicker times. I talked to the guys at Dynamic they told me to stick with the C4, install the 2.20 gear set and change the stall speed of the convertor. If I change transmissions out again I may go back to a manual trans. I would love to put a G Force five speed in the car, with a good adjustable clutch. I hate driving an auto. I have been driving manual trans mustangs for a long time. I am going to buy another set of wheels and slicks. I will not get rid of the radials, If the car turns into a race only car I will get rid of it. It has to be streetable or I will get bored with it.
