Question Anyone ever call 911?

I had some old lady call today and ask me for the lotto numbers for this past Saturday. Week before that, some guy called asking if we were hiring......:rotf:

My g/f and mom had to call it after I went to Wilford Hall emergency room after I had my tonsils taken out. I went to the ER there after I had some complications from the surgery, so they put me in the ER, stuck a IV in me, and gave me 2 freakin shots of MORPHINE and sent me home. Needless to say, I was overdosed, high as a kite, and when I started to come down, I was CRASHING HARD! They had to call EMS to make sure I wouldn't die.

I don't remember a thing :thumbdown

Back when I was 13 or 14 my father had stroke(hes recovered now) and me and him were the only ones home. Needless to say I ended up calling 911 that day. On a side note a friend and I(we were in the 3rd grade, we didnt know better) made a prank call to 911. The cop showed up at the restaraunt, we denied and he left. My friends parents got the truth out of us a little later and took us up to the Shertz PD and made us apologize

Yeah, I've called 911 before. It saved my mom's life who was about to go into a diabetic coma. Another time she called 911 for me because I had a reaction to medication after foot surgery and I couldn't breathe and just about died before the ambulance came.

Luckky for me ive only have had to dial once... and lucky for me it wasnt anything too serious and had nothign to do with myself or a lovedo ne, I called in a somewhat serious wreck i witnessed and the lady was complaining of neck pain ect.

In Austin we have 311 as well, for all non life threatning/serious requests for response. Police,EMS for minor fender benders ect.

As for me, ive had 911 called for me 1 time, when i was hit by a truck riding my bike... i still walked away, just a little battered though.

I have called it like 10 times , for good reasons though!

Where I used to work we would have this drunk guy come into the restaurant and bring in a HEB cart full of beer and would go to the bathrooms and drink up, then he would go out to the parking lot and carry out drug deals :2thumbdwn ,

I would always call 911 on him, but it took the cops like 20 minutes to respond to those calls :2thumbdwn

Also one time on 281 and 1604 right past the bridge going 281 north there was a 6 car pileup, and two cars flipped over, so I went ahead and called 911 to get EMS over there.

I also called it when i had someone T bone me in my moms car at the target parking lot on dezavala road and I 10

Called it another time when i was at a friends house by the zoo, and we heard some lady yelling loudly and seriusly HELp ME SOMEONE HELP ME, and we looked and saw a group of guys run out from where the screams were comming. That's a good idea. That should be nationwide.
