Anyone from Amarillo?

I am visiting this Christmas and really want to make a great trip out of driving towards Amarillo.

I grew up there and was hoping to see a car show or something while I am there. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey. Actually we are having a meet up in Amarillo on December 17th. It's for amarilloracers.com, just a bunch of us car guys meet up at Hooters, hang out, and eat some good food. I live in San Angelo, going to college, and we decided to have a meet up on the 17th, since us college guys have been gone. It should be pretty fun. I think we are meeting at about 7 in the Hooters parking lot.

You can go to amarilloracers.com then go to the forums and click on Upcoming Events, you'll see it in there. Hope to see ya there....

awesome.. Do you know if there are any local events there? Something I can definately get out of the house for?

Hmm.....just check amarilloracers.com Anything that happens, muscle car wise, is talked about there. I don't think there will be any actual car shows during XMas. Most people are busy with family or out of town. Kinda depends on how long you are going to stay?
