go around the waterbox, then do a small burnout (not a long standing burnout) just to get any water or debris off the tire

snoozer... and this goes for all of your posts in this thread: you don't know v6's, so please stop filling new guys with wrong information.

i concur with what jeff said in his first posts. don't "expect" anything the first time you go to the track because you're bound to be disappointed. just go with some friends and try to have a good time. remember that reaction time has no effect on ET, trap, or 60'. remember to turn you A/C off before you go and to get the water off of your tires from the waterbox! good luck. :jeff:

Yeah thats reall good advice. I read THIS write-up over at ls1.com and it helped me out a lot on what to do and what not to do. I'm just gonna use this to get a baseline to go off of. Hopefully after X-mas I'll have a few mods and then I'll run again :jeff:

So is anyone on here gonna be out there... I don't know many ppl from SA cause I'm from corpus, but if anyone wants to meet up while I'm down there I can PM you my cell # :jeff:
