Anyone here have any experience using megasquirt?

It a completely tunable EFI that you don't need a chip to tune with.Plus it's dirt cheap.Len or anyone else?

I have been really considering getting it once I get my turbo swap done. I have done a lot of reading on the user forums and the manufacturer's website. I already have the expensive part, the laptop...The Megasquirt is pretty cheap and there is a lot of online help and files for getting a base tune started.

I would like to see some folks chime in to see what they think also.

looks like a nearly unlimited product. Only limited by the hardware used.
I would suppose a dyno would help in tuning it though

this looks freakin' awesome.. and also opens up the option of building a 5.0 efi car out of a 4 cyl car w/o all the headache of finding each individual part for the ecu wiring and all that crap.. this looks fun

It's very inexpensive compared to other systems and it will help you have a big learning curve on EFI.You basically build the processor and add to it the options you choose. You also build the complete harness. You will be responsible for all the sensors less the map sensor(included in kit).
