Anyone local carry aftermarket hoods?
well, since i don't think i'm gonna be able to get another cobra hood i am wanting a cowl hood thats new so the painter won't have to prep it

hmmm let me talk to the painter about certifit, and as to why no factory cobra hood, well there is only 1 in the entire USA and its far far away

New or used, it still has to be prepped, you just can't paint on an unfinished hood. It has to be sanded, primed, sealed, painted with base and the cleared.

Certifit was out of stock on all mustang parts for 3 months since a new company has bought all there mustang inventory in San Antonio and has a nice markup on it. I would offer a group buy (free freight which is 135.00 alone) on any hoods from 50resto.com if I can get 5 or more buyers lined up, this would apply for any years and styles.

i just looked up a cobra hood for your model time and its like 200 bucks. an 03 cobra hood wa too! theres no way they can be that cheap...
