i'll throw my hat into the ring

Without knowing what size convertor you have, the weight of the car, the exact specs on the engine or how well its tuned.... I'm going to guess it runs between a 11.9x and a 12.4x @ 112-115 mph with good traction.

they "advertise" 445hp which is about 370 to the tire...TRACTION will be the biggest factor...if you can pull a 1.5-1.7 60 ft time you'll be high 10's - mid 11's...gears and how tall the tire is will be a HUGE factor also. just the stock AOD? if so, 10's wont happen...its a GT meaning its at least 3200lbs...373's in an auto is no good...so to run mid 11's your gonna need 430's and a tall ass tire, 3" exhaust w/ race mufflers...little weight reduction would be a good idea also...what kind of tune and fuel system are u running??

I'd opt out for a nice 750 vac secondary with that AOD in the car. I'd bet the convertor is way too tight for the setup so a double pumper is going to probably do more harm than good.

A car with 370rwhp that weighs 3200 pounds... shoot even 3000 lbs is not going to run high 10's. If it 60' a 1.3x then MAYBE it would be a low 11 second pass or possibly crack off a 10.9x with ideal conditions. Also that 3.73's is plenty of gear for an auto car with a stall. 3.73's in an auto are like having 4.10's in a stick car. Honestly man get the car put together. Get it tuned properly on a dyno and then go have some fun with it. I would hit up Ron Bell he's a sponsor on here and is great with these cars. 830.625.4310

I have read this thread a while back, most likely you are going to be dissapointed. I did not post a responce because I did not want to seem overly negative, but you have picked multiple parts that will not work together very well. AODs will slow down any combo a lot, with a stock or mild convertor and stock or near stock valve body the AOD will use a lot more power than just about any other transmission available and most likely if you drive it hard and are actualy making any power the transmission will not last long. Your carb choice is way too big, if you plan on using an auto and this is going to be a street car with a 3500 rpm or less convertor, I would recommend a 650 cfm. If you plan on using this thing as mainly a track car and put the proper convertor with a well build C4, and a set of 4.10s or a manual transmission such as a TKO, a 700 cfm to possibly a 750 cfm should get it to run a little faster. A shift kit will and red lining frictions will not fix an AOD, you will need either a Lentech or a F.B. valve body and truely the whole transmission, to get an AOD that will work worth a crap. For a complete Lentech or F.B. AOD and convertor you are goind to spend around $4000 if I remember correctly. A C4 is much cheaper and will use much less power and the convertor will also cost you less. So I would not take a gess at your times, not knowing what convertor you plan to use and the condition of the transmission. You could easily burn the transmission up on the first pass, most likely before you have the car sorted out the transmission will burn up. If the engine makes what they claim, if you get most of the combo correct, it will run 11s in a fox body with traction, depending on weight, how well it 60's, how well it is tuned and what transmission and or convertor you use, will depend on how low into the 11s it goes. There is enough power to go low 11s, but with the parts you listed so far, I would gess somewhere in the 12s if the transmission lives to the end of the track without slipping, in that case more like 13s.
The current combo is an '85 coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364, Ported Twisted Wedge heads and a BXR intake, A9M ECM with a Moates chip, Doug Nash 5 spd, 4.56 gears, Hoosier 275/60/15 drag radials.
Daily driver '89 GT 302 stock block, crank, rods and pistons, ported GT-40P heads with stock valves, Ported Explorer intake, B302 cam, Z spec T5, 3.73 gears, Moates chip and no traction. Made 325 whp and 325 wtq.
