AOD year model?

Can anyone tell what year a AOD is? i need to know weither i have a 89 or a 90.

Look for an aluminum tag that has info stamped on it. Post what you see. If that tag is missing you can get the part #'s from the tranny and get a good idea from that.

what would difference be from 89 to 90????

starting in '90 they went to a stamped steel direct and reverse drum. could be some other differences but im not 100% sure.
