This is the new official thread for the University of Houston meets! Due to miscommunication in the last thread, this thread will help clarify what is going to happen for this weeks meet

UMS is an actual UofH school organization that hosts the meet, just like any other school organizations there is a constitution, rules, and guidlines which lead to its legitamcy. UMS is not just one person, but a group of University of Houston students, including myself that would like to see this meet happen. As should everybody else . As you know, with legitimized rules, and location, spells for a phenominal meet formula So, lets work together to make this an awsome meet, not for just UMS, not for just UofH, or any other single entity but for everyone!! So lets make this a safe and fun meet, and we'll see you guys on Saturday!!!

Where?

University of Houston Lot 20A, across from the new recreation center!

When?

7:00pm - 12:00pm


---- Additional security will be provided at the meet, for the security of people and their cars to ensure that this will be a drama free safe meet!
We have found a sponsor for this weeks meet to pay for the two stationary police officers dedicated to the meet as well as other misc. things that might come up for the meet :eek3dance ---

Rules for the meet

1) No alcohol. Let us repeat: NO alcohol. No drugs as well.

2) No revving your engines or sounding your car horns.

3) No loud music. (please keep it at a respectful level)

4) Please watch your speed as you enter and exit the parking lot.

5) Please watch your trash. If you need to throw something away, please place in the dumpsters or give it to the cleanup crew at the end of the meet (they have trash bags). Do not leave trash on the ground.

6) There will be a diverse mix of cars and people (we welcome all kinds of cars). Please respect each other.

7) No street racing at or near the meet.

8) No burn/peel outs. No drifting.

9) No speeding in the parking lot!
