Yes, the Miata crowd rules the AutoX ...

Next one is 16 January, I think -- I'll check with my Miata friends on the date. It's in the (I could be wrong, let me check) parking lot of the SBC Center. It costs something like $20, and you can have one co-driver/passenger in the vehicle with you (take turns driving or just as a passenger). MUST wear a helmet, no exceptions.

Pardon the livestock sounds, it's covering up some rather colorful language ... LOL!

The video should be my friend, Craig, who has my Miata's old (scratched) hood on his car now ... he had to make some cuts to fit in his blower, etc. so he used my messed up one for the first-try-run of cuts ...

It came with an eMail that included this, "dec 16 autox first run of the day (which means it's SUPPOSED to be slow). The pavement was cold, the tires were cold, the driver had too much high octane eggnog at a gathering the night before......"

LOL!

And he's told Don and me to "just show up with your <?> $20!" They have loaner helmets (if you aren't creeped out by sharing head gear with others).

I've not gotten the date verified yet ... (or the price) but I zipped him off a note earlier.

You drive whatever you bring. Although they wouldn't let Don's Lightning do it. They draw the line at "cars only."

------------------------------------------------------------
POI (proof of insurance):
http://www.sasportscar.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2568
SASCA's new host venue , the AT&T center, is requiring that Proof Of Insurance (POI) must be on file for all drivers BEFORE any future autocross events at the AT&T center. This is in addition to our club's standard event insurance and waiver forms.
We need to collect copies of each drivers POI BEFORE the next event.
This is the insurance card that you hand to the nice officer along with your driver’s license. It should be in your glove box or wallet.
If we don’t get your POI on file BEFORE the October 22nd event, you might not be able to run. We realize this is not ideal, but for now, this is part of the price of doing business with AT&T. If you tow your car, send in the POI for your tow vehicle. This requirement is for Drivers only, spectators do not need to have POI on file. We will need a new copy when the POI expires, not one for each event.
Here are some ways you can get your POI on file with us.
1) Get out your digital camera. Photograph your POI card and email it to me.
If you have a scanner that would work also.
2) Mail me an extra copy or a photocopy of your POI card.
Emails should go to sasca@swbell.net
Postal mail should go to
Edward Harloe
7201 Still Brook Dr.
San Antonio TX 78238

Any more questions?!!! It is going to be some serious fun.... it always
is.

Pre-register, or have someone take your info to the run ..... you can always show up "late" and just be at the back of the pack .... Maybe line up to get the "driver's meeting" in private when you get there??

What time(s) does Church run?

Watching is free. You can even ride biatch with someone else for free, I believe.

They have them about once a month, usually around the middle of the month. I don't believe they are always on Sundays ....
