Don and I have been meaning to go out for quite a while now ... but something always comes up. And this time of year, if the weather isn't just nice & balmy, then I am miserable & frozen ....

IF the weather is nice that weekend, we might be out there.

I heard back from my AutoX friend, Craig ...

-------------------------------------------------
There is going to be at least a 99 SVT Cobra there, super clean car, very nice owner. Last time there was a CP (C Prepared) Mustang that was fast.
National level CP cars are 500hp+ and tube framed. Very serious stuff.

Not to be the old man yelling 'hey you brats! get off the lawn!" but please make sure anyone who comes to the AT&T center doesn't not do anything dumb. Do NOT exceed 10-15mph, definitely don't rev or do burnouts or drive anywhere else on the facility. (there is a link an aerial map that shows the path to take http://www.mindspring.com/~eharloe/sasca/att/ATT_Template1.jpg)

We are so lucky to be able to rent the place and don't want to get booted because of a bad incident. It's happened to us before and we didn't have a place to play for a year. Besides, I WILL shoot the person who gets us kicked out of there!
---------------------------------------------
And he attached a little video of his shooting ability ... pretty impressive! I didn't know he did that stuff -- or was that good!!!

If you are going to play be sure and send them proof of insurance before the event
or all you will do is watch or ride with someone.
Check the SASCA website for particulars.

im lookin at this helmet. heres the specs. would this be ok to use at the sasca events?

Custom painted style available to the racer at off-the-shelf pricing! The G-FORCE Racing Gear Force One Graphix helmet is the most eye catching M2005 helmet on the market today. Our Yellow/Orange/Red super flame design accents the checkered flag trim for a dramatic custom look and quite simply it just looks FAST. The Z38 Kevlar/Fibgerglass composite shell is lightweight for short runs or daylong events.

The ProFit optically correct molded shield comes standard on all G-FORCE Racing Gear helmets.

Helmet includes factory mounting points for the G-FORCE Racing Gear SRS-1 helmet restraint system.

AutoX Jan 20, earlier start time. AND get your POI on file!

SASCA has CHANGED our SCHEDULE for the 2008 events.
Registration : 7:30 - 8:30
Late Registration: 8:30 - 9:00 ( $10 late entry fee ) Drivers Meeting : 9:30 Members still get the $5 discount for pre-registering at dlbracing.com.
Others can preregister too, just to save time at registration.
ONLINE POI LIST UPDATED Jan 2, 2008. CHECK YOUR STATUS.
This list contains only POIs valid for the January 20th event.
We still need valid Proof of Insurance for all drivers running at events at the AT&T center. Please remember to send in updated POI images as you recieve new insurance cards. You can check your current POI status here
http://www.mindspring.com/~eharloe/sasca/att/POI_List.txt. The link below leads to the original POI topic that explains how you can get your POI image to us.
Note: POI images taken at the October event we accidently lost. Also, the club has not yet decided if we will continue to accept POI images at the events. We might only allow this for first time drivers in the future.
-----------------------------------------
Here are some ways you can get your POI on file with us.
1) Get out your digital camera. Photograph your POI card and email it to me.
If you have a scanner that would work also.
2) Mail me an extra copy or a photocopy of your POI card.
Emails should go to sasca@swbell.net
Postal mail should go to
