Thumbs up Back at Dallas Mustang

Dropped my Mustang off at Dallas Mustang a week ago for 60 lb injectors and the final tune after having the stroker kit/forged internals and .30 overbore done. They knew my goal was 550-600 RWHP and they took it seriously. Robert, the shop manager and Mike, the tuner are so dang meticulous! First of all they had me upgrade
the blower intake. After a few pulls, they suggested that I get a GT500 fuel pump system so as to not "lean out"
the engine. The parts come in next week and I can't wait to see what the dyno readings will be!

I used them to install my headers on my 2000 Mustang GT( since sold) and Steeda Springs, Caster Camber Plates, and Bassani Headers on my 03 Cobra a few years ago when I lived up there and they did a great job. The customer service wasnt bad at all. I have heard other people have nightmares over there, but my experience was good to go.

Same here. Have not had a lot done, but they've been really professional and good with the stuff they have.

A little problem with the heads

Robert was getting ready for the final pull on the dyno. He kept noticing something weird. He pulled the heads and the seals were pulled out and I had a bent valve. The stock heads could not handle the new engine compression I guess. Glad he found it in time. The heads were the only stock item left on the engine....shouldn't have left them on. Anyway, I'm getting BBR heads on RADPONY today. Now for the tune.....Don't think I will have my car ready for The Yellow Rose car show in Ft. Worth. But I'll be there.

Things seem to have changed greatly and for the better, since Randy Gibson took over full ownership a year ago.

Hey Bro!

I just did a post right above this one. Check it out and let me know when
you'll be there. Maybe we can hook up for a visit. I'll be hanging out at the Black Mustang Club Corral just to the right when you come in from the
north entrance...or way in the back to the left if you come in the south entrance. If there are any really cool Mustangs in the parking lot, let me know and I'll get the Mustang Generations photographer to take some shots.
See you there.

i never had any problems until recently... but we'll leave it at that... they seem to be doing a good job on your car, and what happened with me is between me and them... they're not a bad shop from what i can tell... it's the sales dept. i have a problem with.
