Idler pulley bearing or tensioner bearing
Both are really cheap like under 20 bucks

u can check to see if its a bearing by putting a yard stick or something similar to each pulley and listen for one thats louder than the other, it'll sound like a grinding noise

put the yard stick to the bolt that holds the pulley on... it must be running while you do this so be carefull

what theyre trying to say is use the yardstick as a stethoscope. put one end near each pulley (or on the pulley bolt) and put your ear on the other end to isolate where the noise is coming from. but like david said, be careful

another way is to just take the belt off and spin the pulleys by hand, listening for noise.

no you dont need a puller. just a 15mm (if i remember right) socket. usually the only thing you need a puller for is power steering or harmonic balancer.

ok so kinda pissed... mom woke me up this morning and made me take my car to her mechanic guy, lol supposedly my parents dont trust me to change some little part.
lol anyway on the way over to his place the squealing totally stopped so when we opened up the hood and started the car i sounded like an idiot telling him it squealed when there were no squeals at all .
only good thing comming out of this is that im saving some gas money because my GF is driving me around till its fixed

thanks for all yalls help on the subject
