Badging Change Question

I know a few ppl have different badges (i.e. Mitch's 4.6 fender badges) How hard is this to do? I'd like to get rid of the GT badges but don't want to go as far as having more paint work.

it's easy as pie to remove the badges. you need a few things: hair drier, fishing line, and some ruber removing liquid(cant think of what it's called, too early in the morning). use teh hair drier to wark up the clue, and use the fishing line to get it off.

a good place to find new ones, or even have a custome one made is www.autobadges.com

Yeah I like autobadges.com, that's where I got my tailight/reflector tint but they have some cool square "stang" badges that are similar to the roush but wasn't sure how hard it is to change. thanks for the tips, I think i'll switch those out soon.

I used some fishing line, goo gone and some hot soapy water. Use the goo gone to get the residue off and the soapy water to make sure the area is completely clean before putting on the new emblems. I did it on a warm day and let the car sit in the sun for a few hours before doing it. Both fender emblems only took about 20 minutes.

So I'm guessing the badges aren't supposed to be applied with 3M double-sided tape....sign #3 that my car has been repainted

They stick out a good bit and the tape underneath is the same thick white stuff I used to put the XM antenna on my Civic...I mean, you can just tell it's not supposed to look like that.
