battery leads

Here's a dumb question - the stang keeps building up white chalk like corrosion on the positive terminal. I've already replaced the positive lead w/clamp and also used anti corrosion spray they sell at auto zone. The car is garaged kept at home and at work. The negative lead looks great. The car came with a new battery when I bought the 99GT about 2 years ago. I've never had any cranking or charging problems with it. (I'll check battery brand during during) It seems like it the corrosion builds up quick within a spand of 2 weeks. I'm constantly having to clean the positive battery post and lead. This shit is an eye sore.

i use the battery terminal cleaner, and follow that up with the battery terminal protectant spray. but, if dons way works, im sure it would be cheaper.

Dan ... you know you put anal lube on your terminals... don't lie!!

I have seen weird stuff on terminals, grease, vaseline, spray paint, caulking, and just the other day I saw a customers car that still had the plastic wrap on the battery, the red and green terminal covers, and get this.. still had the protector cap on the positive side, how it made a connection, I have no idea.

I use your anal lube for my batteries....

I have seen a lot of the plastic terminal caps still on batteries and the car still starts. Some people dont realize you are supposed to remove them.
