Beefier T-Lok rebuild kit?

I had my T-Lok rebuilt recently, but at the track the tires still switch from left to right sometimes during the burnout (reason for previous rebuild). I am not looking for a race application setup because I don't beat on the car. Is there a more positive engagement limited slip clutch pack for the 8.8 out there? I haven't been able to find anything yet. I don't think it matters, but i have the 28 splines in the car.

If you bought the Ford clutch kit, it should have come with some shims. Use the shims to tighten up the clutch pack, it is a pain to put it back together if you get it tight. In the dealership we had a tool that you put one end into a vice and the other end into the splines of the side gears, then you turn the diff case until you can reinstall the pinion pin. If you want a better diff buy an Eaton or a Detroit Locker. Don't waste your money on an Auburn they only have one friction per side so they wear out quickly.

thanks VERY much for the info. I know the clutches were a b*tch to put in. It must not be shimmed tight enough. I'll buy the carbon fiber kit asap. Thanks again.
