Best budget setup?
I am lookin for tire and wheel combo.
Down the road, i'll have a set of Weld Pro-Star Big and Littles but for now, I am looking for either 17x8 wheels for DR's or 15x8's for ET streets. Who's running what combo and are you pleased with it? These 2.08 short times are killin me on the stock 235/55/17 tires. I want to hook up and take advantage. I wouldn't mind a set of 16" V6 wheels but don't know how the 99-04 wheel spacing would affect taller tires. Anyone running a track only pair? Are you pleased with DR or ET Street Choice?

If you can find Some Weld XP's (discontinued line, check ebay) with 5.5 backspacing, you can fit 15's on your S197. I couldnt find them, so I went with v6 16's with ET drags in the back. I'm perfectly happy with this set up, but I need something lighter then these chromies up front.
I actually ran two spares as skinnies up front, as well as adjusting my launch and dropped 2 tenths.
