everyone is gonna say C&L or JLT. They both require a tuner. I have had the KN for over a year now. I love it. Easy to install, i could hear and feel a difference. I like it since i can use a tune to get bigger gains but its not required to drive the car. Hp gain is about 10-15hp. To me the KN looks the best under the hood. I think i paid about 150 and i installed my self with hand tools in about 45 mins

Hope this helps

What about the C&L "Racer"
it is a 95mm maf and it is plastic instead of the aluminum.
so its bigger and a bit cheaper, anyone tried that one?

Price is too cheap, does not include tuner.

I purchased mine direct from JLT

Do a google search

ok, you going to the dyno day?

You should try to get a dyno before and after the install to see what kind of gain you get.

I might, I'll try, right now all I have on is the axleback flows, so I should be able to get a good baseline

thanks mike, that'll save about $75. So I think it'll work
looks nice color matched, but of course mine is black, so it wouldn't matter. The silver will do or I could repaint it.

My JLT woke my car up. I have the SCT II tune on just the 87 version and love the difference. Also under the hood it looks good when painted to match the Grabber Orange
