That's right, its the Big Dawg Little Pooch Shootout and its back at San Antonio Raceway once a month on a Friday night.

If you like heads up racing you don't want to miss the best heads up racing action on Friday nights once a month at San Antonio Raceway! These cars are some of the fastest door slammers that Texas has to offer and you just never know what they will do. From killer wheel stands to record breaking times and everything in between, you just have to be here to believe it.


Big Dog : Any door car with unlimited power adders and any tire size.

Little Pooch : Any door car with unlimited power adders on a True 10.5 non"W"
tire or smaller.

Rules will be ran for 2 months then re looked at after that to keep parity.

Entry fee 100.00 for either class

LOL Jose, but I agree with Bryan, Drag cars arent my "cup of tea" and think a REAL street car class would be cool. I would definetly do something like that.

Last night was pretty good, as compaired to last month. There were not 300 bracket cars with 75% of them entered in 3 classes each and then about 50 anoying imports making laps and then only a handfull of heads up car. This time there were only a few bracket cars, a small group of cars doing time trials, with many of those being quite intresting such as the turbo Chevy pick ups, very few imports that all had quiet exhaust and a good selection of heads up cars. I talked to the guy with the black Chevy short bed turbo truck, he said it had a 91 mm turbo and a LS1 based engine that was stroked to a 408. It has a 480LE trans with 4.10 gears, which he said he was thinking of changing. The only two passes that he ran it all the way through the 1/4 it went 11.0 at 120 mph and I saw him on the brakes around 1000 ft. When I went to talk to him his tunner showed up and was asking what the A/F was, he said it was 10.2:1 and the boost was falling off towards the top of the track, so there is a good bit left in that truck.

+1......my check was screwed up by the dealer too....lol

I didnt go cuz I had a very rare opprunity to go with a buddy to his 1100 acre deer lease. We went up to add corn to the feeders & check on the place.

Yeah, they decided I wasn't married anymore, so they cut back my check. It sucks cause this is the paycheck I pay my house payment. It will be really close until next paycheck, but they are back paying me.
