Crazy it's already been a year almost to the day the car made it's first 8sec pass. How times have changed.... Finally after a couple months being down and adding some new gadgets she fired back up tonite. It was a project but Matt and Travis finally got it knocked out. Travis has the first 12v car with Trevor's Race Car Control system. It's pretty badass and everything is on the touchscreen instead of the overhead panel that was previously in it. Still have alot of getting used to but it's pretty damn cool. Basically an Iphone for a car it controls everything. Also added a Fire Supression System for added saftety. Hopefully it's one of those things that never has to be used but just in case it will be there.

Should be back to the track in very short time stay tuned...

Well we we're finally able to get out and play with the car and learn a few things with the digital 7 and the new control system. Dont know how we ever did it without one and we haven't even begun to really get into it. Still have alot to learning to do but it sure helps to have some information to see what the car is doing which was key.

It was a cold night...well at least for us with 38* temps. Very different from Wednesday when we ran and it was 80* and humid as ####. Damn Texas weather. Track was pretty green heard they tried some new compound from VP but can't confirm. Just know we saw and heard alot of peddaling going on and 4-5 cars we first saw blew the tires off. Wasn't much heat to the track by the time we got to run around 9:15 or so.

1st pass car launched great and then boom slammed down and backfired. Never saw it do that before but the digital 7 said it all. .56 into the run and it's already on the rev-limiter. Ouch!! We couldn't really do much but pull as much timing out as it would let us and remove the 2step and just leave on the converter.

2nd run she left great as to all our surprise it hooked then made a slight wiggle around 150ft out and skated it's way down the track. It left good but I had no idea how good. Cut it's best ever 60ft of 1.19 with no bars and some old ass 28's. Definatly have to give Manny's Custom Chassis their dues he wasn't lying when he said we'd hook in a wet car wash.

Decided to make 1 last pass and just add 1* of timing and leave everything else the same. So i'll let the pics and vid speak for itself......

    2nd pass with best ever 1.19 60ft.

Damn that pass looked crazy. What did it run and what was that 60' time? Looked like it may have been at the back tires?
03 DSG MACH - TT - Not fast enough
03 OW MACH - Slower than above
11 RR GT/CS - Slower than both of the above

That wasn't as bad as Midnight madness this past saturday. Did a 200ft wheelie the first pass and the next pass it was on the bumper with all 4 tires off the ground and looked as if was going to flip over sideways as the back right tire caught and jerked the car toward the center line. Hurt some headerss, and tranny cooler and some other stuff. We'll be back out around mid january.

That was a scary run! I am just glad it veered to the right and not to the left. For one it would have been in on the wall, and for two.. it would have been on top of me!

I hope it didn't tear it up too bad, that is the nicest fox I have ever seen, can't wait to see it back in action! You going to put wheelie bars on it?

It's about time for an update with some new upgrades and pics and better yet some new video's of our progress. To say Friday night went good would be an understatement, other than not gettin a first pass till almost 11 at night it was all worth the wait since early December.

Travis and Bob have been hard at work trying to get the car ready for the new season and things are starting to heat up around here. After the wheelie incidents (AHEM) the decision was made to put some training wheel on her to get her calmed down so we could see where the car stood tuning wise. Once we get a better handle on it we'll take em off and go from their. As you can imagine the headers didn't like those wheelies much so they had Manny custom build a set of front exit headers and I must say they are pretty damn badass and the car sounds like a whole different animal.

It's been a loooong few months since last report. Just thought i'd give you guys an update with some new info and vids from this past weekend. Car has had a few changes since I last posted, we added a fire system, RPM datalogger, accumulator and ummm oh yeah a new driver. Travis is back behind the wheel of his jyd coupe and we can't even drag him away from the track now a days, LOL.

Unfortunatly this isn't the best time of year for new best or anything but I think we are finally starting to bring it back around. We still have a long way to go but we're going to give it hell trying to get there.

Here's a couple vids from a little grudge race we had with our buddy Antone and Eric's silver coupe. Pj who used to drive the black coupe is behind the wheel of the silver car now. Hope you guys enjoy the footage.... and yes I know we got a couple things to work on LOL.

Been a long time since we had a good time like that at the track. Stay tuned for the rematch...

    Rudy

Finally back on track after chasing our tail for a few months. Had a couple issues we had to get fixed, weak valve springs among other things. But I think we finally got her back on track. We should be out at various tracks around Texas having some fun this coming season

Even though it still has only 1 kit on it and it's still a small cube 8.2 deck 20* SBF we made the switch to C23 this go around. It maybe a bit overkill at this point but considering we've been getting C23 free it was too hard to pass up.

We decided to make a couple trips to HMP and get some testing in on a different track. Was able to get the 60ft's down to a somewhat respectable time whether it be the track or loosening the front struts it definetly helped.

You know you got it bad when you can't wait till the morning to fire her back up again. Well it was almost morning, I'm sure the neighbors loved it....
    VID#1

This was our first test pass, somehow managed to get lined up with a nitrous BBC 10.5 car. He ended up winning the 275 vs 28's deal so i guess it wasn't so bad.
    VID#2

This was the last test pass, took .5psi of fuel out. Car 60ft'd almost the same but Driveshaft speed was up compared to previous pass. Mph was only slightly higher, maybe .2-.3.
