Blinker lights
I have a 66 and my blinker lights on the dash flash really fast and sometimes flash at normal speeds. Seems like it is just a random thing. The actual blinkers on the outside of the car do the same thing too depending on what I see on the dash. Wondering if I have a charging problem with the alternator or maybe the voltage regulator. Any ideas will help.

Sounds like maybe your flasher is going haywire? I say pick up a new one and install it, I believe they're $5.40 with tax at AutoZone...if nothing else, you'll at least have a new flasher module.

.... I am still feeling dorky ....

I used to have a car that did that .... I cannot remember which car, but I did (at one time) have a '66 Mustang, so it could have been that one.
It's been years, but if I remember correctly, I never did figure it out.... Not much help, huh? ![]() Does it have anything to do with the current load/use of power? Is it slower when you have the headlights on?
