guys i know it will be a while before i can do this upgrade but i need some advice a few questions should i go with a supercharger or turbocharger(these cant have an intercooler can they?)which will give me the greater hp increase without royally screwing my engine up this is for my 04 V-6 and what brand no rush an intercooler(hp increase and price just general)and a reputabal place for install no rush any advice wanted

You can call and talk with Mike Murillo or his shop manager (also named Mike). Toni, who is a member of this board (enouf4u) can answer all of your questions as well. He is one of the mechanics there and has run both superchargers and turbos.

i dont' know why you insist on asking v6 tech Q's on the board, so one last time... www.v6stangs.com ... there is lots of good tech there if you'd give it a chance. asking v8 guys about pushrod 6's isnt' going to get good results.

They are very cool over there and remember enouf4u is on here all the time. As far as the choice of supercharger or turbo, I have no idea on a V6.

well i cant afford it now and i have a warrenty and i wont put a blower on till the car is paid off AND the warrenty is expired so i wont be ruining my new car

well since we payed off my dads car and its payments were like 800 a month and mine are like 300 were just gonna put his whole payment toward mine so it'll be paid off in 1 and 1/2 years but the warrenty will take a while i know its a long time but they dont want me to put it in at all but then again i could do a gt engine swap eventually vs. a s/c then after the swap s/c it i dunno i guess i'll decide when the time comes

Didn't you not want to do gears...due to it messing up your car..and your parents getting mad? gears are nothing compaired to forced induction..

no i just didnt want gears because they will severly drop my mileage but im considering them

Gears won't really drop your mileage unless you're going full throttle all the time. Heck you can do that with the stock gears now....alot of it is driving style.

you might consider a blower in 1 1/2 years but you know nothing about them?

not to sound like an ass, but you really have to do some research on your own to learn stuff sometimes. like tire said, go to a v6 board and do a search, read all the posts you can. search, read, search, read...

i learned everything i know about cars by reading, searcing, and doing...i very rarely post a question in any forum, because 99% of the time that very question has been asked.

this is why I dont advertise my AIM name anymore...people would IM me asking me about stuff like this. what should my next mod be? how hard is that to install? where should i get it from? how much does it cost?

dont waste other's time with questions of the sort...do some research for yourself.

actually they can increase your gas milage due to it taking less from the motor the get your car going...
