blower question
at work we were talking about blowers and the question came about roots style or centrufigual sp? i was looking at the kenne bell 1.7 or a p1sc both intercooled what would be the better blower

It really all depends on what your looking for. The KB 1.7 makes great low end Tq, whereas the centrifugal makes the best power in the higher rpms (hence the reason its better for the track).
The down side to the KB is the it puts constant pressure on the engine where the centrifugal builds boost with the rpms. I personally want a KB because I like to play on and off the track. The twinscrew is probably as close as you're gonna get to turbo technology without paying $12000+. |
