u need to get some pliers and just pull the clip off. then the hose just screws out of the hardline. (does this answer your ?, im not sure if this is what ur talking about)

hoss,
your dead on! I got the brake line off the car. You had to use a screw driver to push the clip apart and it just popped right out. Thanks for the help.

yup, just like Cody said, those clips are easy to get apart, and Keg is right also, line wrenches will save you a lot of time and trouble, I have a set myself.
oh, and FYI, you might want to look into buying a line bender, you will need itm turst me, we've had to fab up custom tranny cooling lines and fuel lines. they come in handy.

yes the nuts are easy to strip off,I remembered that from my stang I had in high school. That's one of the first things I bought after bringing this car home.
Ryan, It's funny you mention a line bender cause i'm actually looking to get one will I wait for my brake line to get here. I already have new lines to go across the axle and the rubber line to connect to the hardline. The lines for the axle are pre-bent but will still need some tweaking to make fit.

I'm jealous that you actually get to fix up your mustang. My 65 coupe is down the the shell with no floors or frontend. Gonna need everything, a real big project that is going nowhere. I wish I just had the simple smaller things to do instead. Just make sure you do it right the first time and fix the rust right and for good.
