Just use water to rinse off all brake dust, do not use compressed air.

What he said. Minimal dust is ALWAYS the best way for drums. Asbestos or not, that dust is not good for you

You should immediately bring the car to S A and give it to me. I will remove you from any possible asbestos hazard by taking the car from you and exposing myself to the many dangers of asbestos and the huge quantities that are released when doing your brakes. That way you will be safe and I will care for the Mustang..........................
Unless you stick your head inside and take deep breaths the minimal amounts that MAY be in the brake shoes will not be enough to cause you any problems over the course of your life.............
