I never said they were a big company, and the EPA would never do something stupid like that. Instead, they would destroy a smaller company as a warning to the rest. Regardless, the aftermarket world is in serious trouble regarding emissions and enforcement. The EPA has made this very clear, and you're a moron to ignore that. This isn't over. What they fail to realize is that this may have worked 30 years ago, but now the aftermarket world is a multi-billion dollar industry that can fend for itself. (think SEMA)

I do not understand why you feel the need to be so negative. This forum is supposed to be enjoyable, not somewhere where a faceless individual can bash people just because they know how to use a search engine. I understand that people put in their two cents about certain topics, but there's no need for a buck fifty of arrogance. Don't get all feelings.

speaking of which where is SEMA when it comes to this. Are they do busy making sure that Cars made before 1940 are able to be on the road with out saftey belts are able to be on the road. Don't get me wrong I love the old cars i have a old 55 truck, but I think we should be hearing from SEMA on this and they should be speaking out against this type of goverment abuse.

Heh, look who's getting all "feelings." Ask anyone here, I am certainly not a "faceless individual." Nothing I posted was simple search engine info, nor was it bashing. As for negativity, this is a negative topic and it's not something that will just go away if you pretend it doesn't exist. I forsee in the future a lot of change in the aftermarket community, mostly due to enthusiast ingnorance, or an "it's not gonna happen" attitude. It is happening. For example, did you know that it is now a felony to remove or tamper with emissions equipment on a newer (I'm thinking 2005+, but not 100% sure) vehicle? This is only the beginning.

Like what PSI stated, as long as it displays off-road - the suppliers will continue pumping them mils out. I've come across blue prints of the mil eliminator circuitry here on LSS - just wondering who has successfully fabricated any mils?

The EPA is probably trying to get back at people laughing at them from The Simpsons Movie.

D'oh!

Ditto. Anyone use MILs for later year models (2005+) w/out deleting rear sensors via their tune?

So do these go in between the O2 sensors and wiring harness connector, such that the rear sensors are still connected but outside of the exhaust system?
Curious as to how these really hook up and simulate a sensor.

Yes the tuners can do it for all OBD-2 vehicles, and yes they (MIL elim.) go between the vehicle and o2 wiring harness. They allow the o2 heaters to work (so as not to throw a code) but run a resitor inline of the signal wire to change the ohms resistance so that the vehicle will see a lean condition.

I used the diagram I posted in this thread and made a set for my 01 GT when I had it. It passed inspection with no issues, and the MIL never came on. I was running a MAC prochamber on it.
