    buzzing fuel pump relay on 87 gt

    WTF! i have a buzzing fuel pump relay under the driver seat and another one on the passenger fender well under the mass air sensor.....i have replaced several ground wires and connections, check power to both relays, and replaced both relays several times....i don't know what else to do. has anybody ever had this problem and conquered it?!

    i had the same problem on my 90 Gt.. kept poppin the relays by the Mass air... check the orange wire on the fuel injector harness by the 10 pin connectors... it should be grounded.. if not it will keep doin it.. i grounded mine and has worked ever since

    thanks man....i put about 40 feet of new ground wires on this car and couldn't make it stop...turns out the computer had lost ground and fried...got a new one and she's up and running! now if i could just keep this clutch cable from whippin' my ass i'll clean 'er up and post some pics...

    put that quadrant in there, but make sure you run either a firewall adjuster or an adjustable cable.
