Im have in trouble with my C-4 in my race car, is a newly rebuilt trans and valve body, that my dad Built, so I cant take it back to the builder, it shifts great from frist to second, but Slides itto 3rd,,the engine reves up a quickly and then goes into third, like it looses presure and goes fully into gear....Im on the way to fun ford right now is 10:00 pm thurday, so if your up, call me anytime if you got any suggests...Richard 210-535-1077

Sounds like flare to me as well . I was told that you can readjust the forward band and that should help . They said to loosen it up and then go 1 1/2 turns for a coarse thread bolt or 3 turns if its a fine thread bolt .
