I know there are plenty of these but i did my own for fun.
Tools needed: 10mm socket (extension needed), blade and philips screwdrivers, star wrench(provided), and 2 zip ties(provided).
Start by disconnecting the MAF by pulling back on the red tab then pull it out.
Next disconnect the hose that connects to the inlet pipe near the throttle body.
Then unscrew the bolt connecting the airbox to the inner fender. (10mm)
Next loosen the hose clamp around the throttle body and pull the inlet pipe off.
Using the star wrench provided take apart the old MAF and reassemble it into the new housing.
when reassembling it make sure to use the new philips screws provided.
next attach the rubber connectors to each side of the inlet pipe, attaching the MAF to the smaller side. (the inlet pipe and MAF should touch each other underneath the rubber)
Using the 10mm bolt attach the air box to the inner fender. Leave the bolt loose.
Using a zip tie connect the front of the air box to the ABS lines.
connect the inlet pipe to the throttle body and line up the MAF to the air box. (dont forget to reconnect the nylon hose on the inlet pipe near the TB)
reconnect the MAF plug and connect the filter. Dont forget to tighten the 10mm bolt on the air box.
and thats it.![]()
