Smile Calling Texas Late Model Mustangs...

We are the Late Model Mustang Club of North Texas (aka LMMCNTX). We are in our startup phase with a projected formation completion of 1/1/11. Although we are just starting up we wanted to let folks know we are out here and a few things about us.

The majority of our members, at this point, reside in the western portion of the DFW, Texas area. We own 4th and 5th Generation Mustangs (1994-Present). Primarily a social group at this time, we get together to hang out at a show, eat dinner, socialize, celebrate life and/or basically just enjoy each others company.

    Mission Statement:

The club is organized to allow members to improve their morale through association with people who have similar interests in Late Model Mustang (1994-present) automobiles. The club will serve to help inform the Dallas/Fort Worth area about Late Model Mustangs and be an information source for local enthusiasts. Club activities will provide both safe and economical opportunities to introduce the Dallas/Fort Worth area to the fun of owning a Late Model Mustang.

    About Membership:

    1. Club membership is voluntary and open to everyone regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, race, color, or creed. The LMMCNTX is a private, non-profit organization and is not based on any ranking system.

    2. The LMMCNTX membership is limited to persons that are Ford Mustang enthusiasts, whether or not they are owners of a Late Model Mustang and or Late Model Shelby automobile.

    Membership Definitions:

    1. Full time active members are persons who own and / or are Late Model Mustang (1994-present) enthusiasts and have completed an application for membership.

    2. Full time active members have paid dues to the club and have LMMCNTX voting privileges.

    3. Immediate family of full time active members have the same benefits, but voting rights are limited to one vote per membership.

    Meetings:

We haven't set up a permanent meeting schedule or location as of yet but we do post all meetings on the club calendar at least 2 weeks prior so that all members or guests may attend.

    Please Note:

We do want to stress that there is no division in the club - no SN95 vs. NewEdge, no S197 vs. NewEdge, no Shelby versus Mustang, no GT versus V6 - We are all equals here.

    In Closing:

We will post more information about the club as it becomes available. We hope that you will come out and meet us, learn a bit about who we are and what we are about, hang out at a show with us and basically enjoy your car, new friends and your hobby with us.

Good question Ray, for example, once the next body style comes out are members that oen SN-95's going to be forced to buy a newer car? If they are not, then you are not really staying true to the plan

    Wink

LOL! Good question indeed. No, we won't kick you out and, if you currently own a Late Model and a Classic your Classic is in as well.

We'd be glad to have you. Today is the North Texas Mustang Club's (NTMC) 2-Day indoor show in Fort Worth (Yellow Rose Car Show). Since most of us are NTMC members we'll be out there if not showing our cars. One of our members owns a 98 Laser Red and I'm certain he would LOVE to talk to you about yours.

Check out our calendar and come see us!
