car wont stay on an is smokin bad exc..

well 2night we fired up my car it just got a new motor an tranny in it an ran into some issues wondering if any1 has some advice first off the car will start an turn on it just is having trouble turning my buddy gota torque wrench an was trying to turn the engine with up to a 130 lbs of pressure he said it feels like the assembly or something is getting in a bind ??? it turns on we had it running for bout 2 to 3 minutes an then it dies an sound slike its locking up real quick! while the car is running its smoking real bad an after turning off the engine pulled off the cap for the valve covers an smoke was coming out for a good while! also while running there is a noise sounds like a chirping noise theres some friction some where in the block is wat i was told ?? another thing my mechanic said was that it could possibly be the tranny locking up the motor an making it hard to turn over ! Im kinda pussled with the whole thing the motor was just built so it hasent even had time to be drivin in the car ! any ideas or suggestions would be great ,, thanks

Real Name: Don
Sounds to me like someone got the clearances in the motor to tight and when it heats up metal expands and it gets even tighter.
You should be able to turn the motor with a breaker bar fairly easily(with the plugs out of course) If it takes over 130ft lbs to turn it something is way to tight inside.........

IM TAKING IT IT IS A CARBED APPLICATION, THE "CHIRPING NOISE" IS VACUUM RELATED. PULL YOUR BREATHER OFF AND SEE IF THE CHIRPING GOES AWAY..ALSO CHECK YOU PCV.
