ok guys...im a waiter at carrabbas in copperfield and both my boss and I are mustang owners and i was talking to my boss about it the other day and we have such a huge parking lot in the back area of the rest. it would be a perfect place to hold a car show or just a place that you guys could come and pop your hoods and eat some italian food...what im trying to get at is that my boss wanted to see what you guys had to say about it because he's really wanting to do this and also about prizes and how they what they range from...cuz if we were to do a "car show" we would want to do it the right way!! and since i havent really gotten to meet any of you guys it would be a good chance too...and im not saying this has to be anytime soon because i know the stampede is coming up and everyone is gearing for that....we just want to get some idea about it....thanks

That crapload of construction down from Blockbuster still going on? My buddy lives over there but I haven't been in a few months....traffic was so crazy....I pretty much grew up over there...Bowled junior leagues at Copperfield Bowl...that's an awesome area!!! :jeff:

when did you bowl jr leagues? (how long ago). i actually bowl there wednesday nights.

as for the gtg, i am sure i could make it sooner or later. hell, it's only about 10 minutes from my apt. :mick:

was around 1988-1989 or so......bowled men's leagues there after.....had a bud shoot 300/800 up there a few years back.....maybe a LSS beer/bowling hour would be cool following Carraba's from time to time... :jmg680:

i was 8 years old in 1988, so you were in juniors alittle before my time :jmg680: i was bowling back then if you want to call it that i grew up bowling at amf stafford where i bowled my first 300 when i was 16. i have bowled 6 more since then with a high series of 823 at tomball.

i used to bowl in all types of junior leagues, sat mornings, travel leagues, scholarship leagues, and even collegiate bowling. so yeah, to sum it up i'm a big loser

so if we do a lss bowling gtg, i will prob bowl left handed or someting :redrum:

ya sometimes...but it only seems like they cut it down to two lanes when im trying to get to work and im late...its not that bad of construction

Im down for a new meet. Sounds like it would kinda be like ottos, where its a resturaunt that allows the meet and all the car people eat inside to support the place and cause theres goo food. However none of you guys come to ttos, whats to say you would come to carrabas? lol. anyway, count me in, and my lil bro too, were looking for a stang for him. Im excited i get another stang woohoooo!!!!!!
