Question CCS tuning?

I don't now much about them but I'd like to know more. I've talked to a local tuner about a tune on my car but I like to hear about any experiences with CCS. Plus, IF I read thier price guide right (???) it would be 200 dollars less expensive than my other estimate thus making the long trip look alot shorter. Just looking for someone that treats thier customer's cars like thier own. Thanks !
P.S. I've allready read every page on thier web-site.

I haven't had my car tuned there YET but will be taking the trip up there once I finish resolving a few car issues and gte my torque converter installed. I met Jim (owns CCS, as well as does the tunes) before I moved out of Austin. He's a great guy with a wealth of knowledge. From the time I was in austin, I only heard good experiences from AAS members that were tuned by him; Never did I hear anything bad.

I have the utmost confidence in Jim's expertise and I wil be taking my GT to him for my tune.

Thumbs up

Well I called the shop after hours and to my suprise got an answer (just calling to leave a message) and spoke to Jim. He was able and willing to answer all my questions and then some. I feel like to not do business with CCS would be a huge mistake. I was very impressed with his great attitude, years of experience and knowledge plus not to mention awesome customer service, and I haven't even got the car tuned yet. I can say with all confidence that he will be seeing my business and my car will be running at it's optimum after he's tuned it! Thanks Jim. It is appreciated! :jeff:

I can give you nothing but praise about Jim and his work. If ANYONE is thinking about a tune CALL JIM. He really knows his stuff. He will not sell you alot of junk you do not need. He will not knock your head off with his pricing. Jim is all about customer service (He denies it but it is true). :jeff:

Need to let you guys know-you need to schedule your tuning 2-3 weeks out, and it will be like that until December, so schedule early.

I was merely letting people know how the schedule runs, so they don't call Friday evening for a saturday appointment-there is a steady line of cars waiting to be tuned, half of which, were "tuned" elsewhere. We stay scheduled that far out, most of the year. Your point is?

Look at the times I post, I tune from 9am-10pm, most days, including the time other "tuners" have me on the phone, teaching them how to tune. You are more than welcome to come up and check us out, and ask any questions of me that you'd like. I've been in this field for many years (way before most of the major companies came along), and most folks find their way here, at some point to get their tuning done, and otherwise solve problems they would not have had, if they had been here first. Not bragging, just pointing out fact. See yah!
